Independent Publishers' award winner Lights along the Path has been awarded an IPPY by the Independent Publisher's Group for the best book of 2000 in the category of Education/Academic/Teaching.
 
This award is presented annually at the Book Fair in Chicago to recognize excellence in independent publishing in North America. Five hundred and fifty publishers entered this years competition in forty-eight categories.
