About the Author

Rebecca Schacht is an educator and writer with a Master's Degree in Special Education and Waldorf certification and a teacher with the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Juvenille Court Schools, Special Education Division.   Schacht's twenty years in education and her love of literature have inspired her to design and implement award-winning classroom curricula as well as develop the thesis for this story collection, in which Lights along the Path is the first entry.
