LIGHTS ALONG THE PATH
About the Artists

About the Illustrator.Jacqui Morgan, a highly-acclaimed New York artist, is the winner of more than 200 awards and has had many one-person exhibitions in the United States and abroad.

Morgan teaches watercolor and is the author of Watercolor for Illustration(Watson-Guptill). Morgan uses her signature style here for the dimensional metallic borders and a more linear, gothic-influenced mode for the story illustrations to convey the earlier era of these ancient tales.

About the Designer.Susan Handman, having designed for such varied clients as Mercedes Benz, Waterford Crystal, and Children's Television Workshop, was excited by the unique challenge presented by the initial offering in this literature series.

In Lights along the Path, Handman combines the feeling of ancient illuminated manuscripts with the author's contemporary application of these stories by use of faux relics in a contemporary design.
