Today is Ross Martin's 101st birthday !!!

Hard to believe he celebrated his last birthday on earth exactly 40 years ago.

Although I already posted this link last September, it's very fitting to celebrate Ross's birthday by watching this beautiful moment in Ross's life.

I've seen this before, but it is always fun to watch.
Always nice to see somebody you like having fun.
I wonder what Mr. and Mrs. Martin talked about at the dinner table that night?

"The Four of Us Are Dying" is episode 13 of the American television anthology series The Twilight Zone. This is one of the few episodes of the series where Rod Serling does not mention the name of the show in the closing narration.

Starring: Ross Martin & Beverly Garland

Excellent.

Two of my favorite actors, Ross Martin and Jack Klugman.
Probably very different people but both, to me, seemed so approachable.

Yes, good choice bornin62. I always thought Jack Klugman was excellent on Quincy M.E.

Nydiva: That's fantastic! I've never seen this clip. What a delight! Once he overcame his surprise, Ross Martin looked as though he was in seventh heaven. After they had wrapped I wonder if he stayed onstage with his orchestra and played all four movements of the symphony.

From "The Night of the Returning Dead":

Artie, can you play one of these things?

ARTEMUS
It's a musical instrument, isn't it? Of course.

And here we saw him direct everyone else playing their instruments. Fabulous!

This beautiful moment has become my very favorite clip of all times. And I do think Ross would have continued conducting to the very last note.
