Oh, no. If it isn't the one you were thinking of. And I just re-checked I busted a blood vessel for the wrong scene. Pardon me while I go bang my head against the wall. |

There are definitely certain phrases that occur in more than one episode, sometimes in the same season. I recall one last year (probably lost in the hack) that I was certain I had the right answer on--the quote was almost exactly the same--but the episode was wrong.
So... back to the drawing board. Or in this instance, DVD player! |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I gave up. There's alot of possible clues, whether nail down, 60 seconds, door open, bucket, bluff at gunpoint.
Put that all together and I'm completely lost!!
ccb---This is worse than your weekly quizzes!! |

I think he's getting revenge on us for Apple guessing this week's quiz so swiftly. |

I'm not conceding defeat but I was wondering has anyone not gotten "a line" and the provider had to give the answer? |

There's still no final answer and no one officially got it yet from what I've seen. I'm thinking this quote may last till 2010 the way it's going. |

Perhaps another clue is in order.
I've gone thru 3 disks and still haven't found it. Oh, the things we do for the game. |

The line is so short, it could literally be anywhere, and said by anyone
Perhaps—but I didn't sketch the rules for this game. The rest of you have thrown a rug over us with some mighty sneaky quotations.
Could you tell us the tone of voice?
Steady and calm.

Okay, I'm stealing DE's idea and going with Artie to one of the pirates in the bath-drowning scene in "TNOT Thousand Eyes."
If it isn't right, I have a feeling the right answer will be a forehead-smacker. |

Yeah I think that's it. Unfortunately I don't have time to go watch it. So maybe chicky can get it this time. |

Oh, you should get the credit if it's right, DE, since it was your idea. I just guessed at the scene.
Actually, I think I'm going to watch "TNOT Thousand Eyes", just to see if it's in there.
See ya guys later! |

Nice guess, but it's not from "A Thousand Eyes."
Here's my last clue, More than this I'll be telling you the answer.
The feeder line for the quotation is, "You don't belong here." |

I'm going to throw in a wild wild guess:
Jim to the lion tamer lady in Sudden Death? |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

When the answer finally emerges we will all either slap our heads and think 'so that is what the clues meant' or swear a blue streak (WT*!) about the clues. |

For some reason, that feeder line reminds of Indra and Jim in that scene just after the bells in "TNOT Howling Light."
Don't know why, though. Hmm... |

C. gal: I'm going to throw in a wild wild guess: Jim to the lion tamer lady in Sudden Death?
I think you mean "The Night of the Sudden Circus," AKA "The Hurry–Up Big Top." That's Season 3, not 1.
Once more:
They say: "You don't belong here."
He says: "I might." |

So what do we do when there's a stalemate? (This is not my quiz.)
I'm willing to disclose the correct answer, but I want someone else to pick up the ball. I've had it long enough.
Please advise. |

I just discovered Jim says "I might" in Dancing Death, when Artie asks him if he could try to search the embassy if there was a major disturbance. Obviously not the right quote. |

I must say that the line is an odd response to the "you don't belong here". Give it a little longer ccb. One of us will get to it. It's only 28 episodes. |
