TNOT Fatal Trap: Linda Medford to Jim as she accosts "Harrison Briggs of Chambersburg,Pennsylvania" in his hotel room.
p.s., if I'm right, can you explain your clues? I got the one about the sheriff, which led me to Fatal Trap--but maybe not the other three! |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Cal gal has it. The clues:
Tumblers are for drinking. In Act II (? It's been a while.) Viper holds a drinking glass to his ear to listen to a conversation in an adjacent hotel room.
Watch that first step, Twitchy. In his excitement over the arrival of "Frank Slade," "Mojave Mike" stumbles on the first step leading into a saloon. It has every appearance of having been an accident on the set: Ross Martin almost landed flat on his face but recovered his balance in time. It's one of my favorite near-bloopers of the series.
Never wear a bracelet to a heist. Throughout the episode Vasquez is shown wearing a large metal bracelet on his right wrist. It's the cause of his death: though the scene is poorly cut, you can see a shot where his bracelet slips over a detached top railing of the runaway coach, which keeps him from jumping clear of the wagon before it sails over the precipice.
You're up, C. G. |

And all is clear as glass. Thanks for the clarification. Of course I remember all the scenes now!
I will find a quote. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Clue the third: The museum curator was once a forger - and before that a flautist. (And the barkeep formerly worked in a funeral parlor.)
