Season 4 The devil finds work for idle hands.
Clue the first: Friendly cat Clue the second: An actor who played a Big Bad in a previous season is a flunky this time around. Clue the third: Jim's contact has a quirky napping spot. Clue the fourth: The Artie surrogate has to break some bad news. Clue the fifth: I do believe that was 'Miss,' not 'Mrs,' Jim! Clue the sixth: 'genuine simulated' Clue the seventh: A big dream about to come true!
Clue the eighth: *ahem* Don't take the Artie surrogate seriously then... |

And I happened to think of yet another clue: The irony is that the actor saying the line generally played devil-may-care characters.

TNOT Undead, Artie in his disguise as the government surveyor as he is "escorted" into Dr. Arcularis's home. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I'll give you a C- for that answer, but it's still a passing grade. I thought Dr. Arcularis was a squatter in a lighthouse. |

Oops. I even looked up how to spell the name--and still mixed them up! Whatever possessed them to have two characters with such similar names?
I'll be back eventually with a quote. |

And that's not counting the pair of evil eye doctors in TNOT Winged Terror!
I started to think I knew this one, but then realized I was thinking of Season Two (Jim to Gerta about Count Manzeppi). I'll have to keep thinking. |

Close enough. In the barn when Jim thought he saw Loveless in the doorway.

In the tag to Avaricious Actuary, Jim to Artie, regarding one of the babes du jour and the fact that when she tapped the tuning fork the entire lab exploded (and I always wonder why the train car didn't as well with all those chemicals mixing). |

Right you are, Cal Gal! Your turn!
As for the clues, here are the explanations:
1 Rhyme time (the lady & the tiger limerick) 2 Lots of French (the menu items) 3 peek-a-boo (the eye behind the Cyclops sign) 4 Artie gives away one piece of evidence and crumples another (the menu and a weight disc)
