Season 2 Yes, I see what you mean.
Clue the first: An actor here had a heavy tread in a first season episode.
Clue the second: Another member of the cast here also made an appearance in a first season episode. (And curiously, there's a line in the tag here that was also in the tag of that episode.) |

I'm going to guess Artie to someone in TNOT Gypsy Peril. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I thought the sixth clue would be a giveaway! Yes, the episode is Gypsy Peril - the speaker, however, is not Artie. |

Nope, not Zoe either. (Btw, Zoe was played by Ruta Lee, the subject of the second clue.) |

Spoken by the Sultan? |

Aha!
Yes, the sultan says the line to Our Heroes in the Teaser, regarding the possibility that (as Artie points out) the US troops might want to fraternize with the sultan's all-girl troops.
(Oh, and the first clue refers to Charles Horvath, who played the sultan's right-hand man Gombal here and played Ironfoot of the metal legs in Glowing Corpse.)
(Ah, and lest I forget, the line that shows up in the Tag of both of Ruta Lee's episodes is 'You can't win 'em all.')
Cal Gal, it's your turn! |

I've been meaning to check the episode - 99% sure it's TNOT Hangman - but it just dawned on me that the line is probably spoken by one of Our Heroes to the other. So I'll make a guess:
Artie to Jim in Hangman. |

Actually it's the opposite, Jim to Artie, but I'll give it to you.
It's after the trial when the Mrs. "assaults" them and Jim starts to have doubts.
You're up! |

OK, Wild Wild Guess:
TNOT Fugitives, Artie (as Hallelujah Harry) to Diamond Dave at the stage depot. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Wow, Cal Gal, that's two out of three. The episode IS Fugitives, and the speaker IS Artie. But he's not talking to Diamond Dave. He also (and this is Clue the fourth) is NOT being Hallelujah Harry at the time.

Just a stab at it: Artie to Jim, TNOT Red-Eyed Madmen? (I'm thinking of the scene where Jim tells Artie to read a book while he's cooling his heels on the train.) |
