I assume you are referring to the song that Miguelito is singing as Jim slowly descends in a well appointed coffin/box in the fish tank full of plastic plants and tiger barbs - Miguelito's Revenge |

James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

That sounds like Aimee from "The Night of the Arrow," but I'm probably wrong... |

I tried to think of a clue last night, but my brain was too drained for thinking.
CL has the correct sex of the speaker, but not the correct episode.
So as for a hint: Flying buttress |

How about another hint: Many don't know that these often have names, but Emmanuel is a famous one weighing in at 13 tons |

Since the clues have religious connotations is it that woman played by Angel Tompkins in "The Night of the Death-Maker" (a lot of which is set in a monastery)? |

You are interpreting the clues correctly, but no, not Death Maker. |

Another try; is it one of the two ladies who Jim and Artie are entertaining at the end of "The Night of the Chronic Waste of Richard Anderson and Theodore Marcuse Headless Woman," when she sees the weevils? |

Always amazed me that they were not totally grossed out by the weevils, but, alas, no it is not from Headless Woman.
Another hint: Gargoyles |

How about Marcia Dennison in Death-Maker? |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Ding dong, ding dong...the winner bell rings. How he could say her voice is clear, like the bells of Notre Dame, I could never understand.
Take it away! |

I know. I thought at that point her voice was annoying! Funny though, I was sifting through season 3 eps trying to think of which one your quote could have come from. I knew it had to be one with a female guest star and I kind of chose Amnesiac at random. Almost as soon as it started, I realized the source of the quote.
I'll see if I can find one just as tricky! |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Would you mind talking for yourself? |

That sounds like something a certain A. Gordon, Esq. would say... no idea of the episode, however. Maybe time for a clue? |

You have the right speaker. Here's a clue:
Superman |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

The first one that comes to mind is "The Night of the Steel Assassin" (Torres being a Man of Steel before the Man of Steel). |

And you would be right, CL. Artie said it to Jim, but again, I don't recall the exact circumstance. I need to make better notes on my list! Some of these I recorded months and months ago.
But your turn! |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I thought I was having a case of deja-vu there for a minute because I remembered the same scenerio a couple weeks back from Steel Assassin with the Superman clue too. Just checked and it was a quote from Jim to Artie though you did from that ep on Feb. 3, 4. haha |
