Would Kenneth "forget" to open some food for his mom before taking off to a friends house? (In case you do not know my son the answer is...in a flipping heartbeat )

Agents! Ya can't live with them. And Admin takes a rather dim view to ya blowing em up. |

It's an ep in which Jim has tricked Arte, which is why Arte says it... |

Not quite a full 24 hours but you may have to give us a clue on this ELJ.
I'm still viewing so I may still get lucky. |

"I was afraid you'd say that."
Even though Mr. West is afraid of nothing, I seem to recall his voice uttering this cliché. I confess that the penny hasn't yet dropped.
It sounds characteristic of the Leacock–Mantley or Garrison–Coon productions. |

Trouble is, I can hear BOTH agents saying it! And still haven't found the right episode.
Clues, Ecstasy? |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Let's just say that this episode has a lot of sharp edges to it. |

I have to say here that it is possible that it is said in another episode than the one I mean. However, I'm looking for one in particular. |

Let me toss up a possibility to someone else with time to investigate it: It's somebody speaking to somebody in "The Night of the Grand Emir." That's an episode with a lot of sharp edges to it. And by her namesake we know it holds a special place in the lady's heart.
On the other hand, Miss La Joie just replied to Double Take au français. That might suggest "The Glowing Corpse," in which I don't remember that line and which doesn't have an obvious abundance of sharp edges. |

Deadly Bed also has "sharp edges" and a French madman. However, I just watched Deadly Bed and didn't hear the quote. That does NOT mean that it isn't in Deadly Bed because I find when I'm re-watching an episode to try to hear or see something, I get caught up in the episode and forget to watch or listen! |

Look at the bright side CG we've almost run out of eps so someone has to get it right sooner or later |

"Diabolical tricks." "All's fair in love and West." Another guess: "The Druid's Blood." But where the heck are all those sharp edges? |

I'm sitting here amazed at all the detective work going on, analyzing things I've said and the way I've said them. In truth, I don't think I'm deep enough to think of all the stuff with which you credit me. |

Just a thought but the reply in french could be a red herring. |

Same here. I watched Deadly Bed and didn't hear the phrase at all. I keep on thinking it's from another season and have to keep reminding myself it's season 1, season1. |

Watching and haven't heard it yet. *Sigh*
