I have a feeling that clue (or two) is going to be needed here. I am totally blanking out on it. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

How about Jeremiah in Returning Dead? |

In the words of Ned Buntline from 'Vipers', FOUL! C'mon, your guess must include some character names. As for 'Big Blast', nope.
CalGirl is incorrect, too. |

I think I'm going to need another clue. I've watched several episodes without success. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

It's from Gruesome Games...was it the games mistress, or was it Rufus Krause? Or someone to Rufus Krause? Gotta go put that dvd in! |

Falcon, you are going to have to come up with some not-quite-so-obscure clues! I have watched quite a few season 2 episodes the last couple of days and still haven't found the quote! (And I could have easily overlooked it.) |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Well, you wanted a toughie!
Another clue: A villain was in a freeze frame. |

Yes, I got what I asked for, didn't I? Hmm... freeze-framed villain. OK. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I think you're going to have to give in, Falcon, and offer a clue we can understand. I've watched a ton of season 2 eps and still haven't found it. Too bad DT is on vacation! |

No, I'm afraid not! But the last couple of season 2 eps I watched I did. |

Argh! Second time viewing I think I found it--and almost missed it again.
Miss Posey to Jim in Poisonous Posey. |

I actually forgot to watch for the villain in the freeze frame, but the telegraph appears twice. First when Jim goes into the town's telegraph office and then in the tag when they get a message to ride somewhere after a crook--and Artie is upset because he just had a long ride to recapture Miss Posey. The sheriff took Jim's derringer away in the telegraph office as well.
Don't know what the wheel bit is either. |

I take my answer was correct.
I'll find a quote later today. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

This will probably go pretty quickly.
Season 3:
I apologize for that. |

Is it Elisha Calamander after accusing Jim (rightly, as it happened) of suspicious behaviour in "The Night of the Turncoat"? |

No, not dear Elisha in Turncoat. I think he said something similar, but that's not who I'm thinking of. Different episode too. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |
