I'll be darned. OK, let me see what I can find. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Season 1:
I’ve taken the pledge. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Is it R.P. McGuffy (alias A. Gordon, Esq.) to John Obediah Brown in "The Night of the Flaming Ghost" when he protests that he isn't a drinking man? |

Nope, not Flaming Ghost.
I think there he actually admits to being a tippler to display the quality of his product! |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

It's definite Artemus Gordon. Maybe to the statuesque (and not because of his physique) bartender - Sudden Plague |

Half right. It's Artie. Not Sudden Plague. |

I can hear Artie saying this, but I'm drawing a blank on the episode. It might be time for a clue
Unless it is Artie in Human Trigger? |

Not Human Trigger.
I've been trying to think of a clue--which as you know is harder than just coming up with a quote! Let me see what I can think of. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I'm having a heck of a time thinking of a clue that won't immediately give it away. But let's try this.
Sometimes an upper-case letter is more than just an upper-case letter. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

OK, I guess that clue didn't work. Lrt's try this.
Moulon Rouge The Dance of the 7 Veils Gatita Strauss |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Gatita? Is it Jim to the lovely Barbara Luna in "The Night of the Deadly Bed"? |

Nope, not deadly bed. The Gatita clue has another meaning. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

A capital letter must be T Wiggett Jones. And the music is what Ecstacy danced to (Gatita I don't recognize).
I started to watch Grand Emir a couple of evenings ago, but my copied DVD is so bad I gave up until tonight and watched the original DVD.

Yes!!
You got the T clue right.
Ecstasy did a Spanish dance similar to Gatita did in Deadly Bed. She also did the can-can (Moulon Rouge), a Middle Eastern dance (Dance of the Seven Veils--I couldn't mention the tambourine; that would have been TOO easy), and she danced the waltz with Jim. (At least I think it was the waltz; been a while since I watched that ep.)
It's all yours, DT. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

I figured I was going to have to watch at least a few to find it, but it was in the first one I selected! Pure luck. |

OK, let's stay with season 1 (this quote may have been used a few times in season 1 but I have one in particular in mind )
James West. |
James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: "Thanks Artie"! Is that all you can say to me? I've just come back from the grave, risen like Lazarus, and that's what you say? "Thanks, Artie"? James: Thanks, Artie. Artemus: It's a pleasure. - TNOT Pistoleros |

Does this come at the end of act 1 of "The Night of the Druid's Blood," when "Jim" is in the hospital bed "injured" after his "accident" and the nurse asks the doctor what the patient's name is? |
