*Apple is surprised when Arte bursts into the kitchen of Mrs. Linkmeyer's Resataurant*
Arte/Mr. Tucker:"Mrs. Osterpolyer...Henrietta, you've got to marry me! Anyone who can cook like you I can NOT live without! Please come away with me RIGHT NOW!" the look in his eyes conveys to Apple that this is serious business.
Mrs. Linkmeyer stops stirring her cake batter when she hears Mr. Tucker's proposal.
Apple/Mrs. O: exclaims, "Oh, Heathcliff!" She throws her arms around him and plants several rapid kisses on his cheeks and neck. "I would simply LOVE to marry you!" While she's kissing him she whispers in his ear: "I'm with you, now get us out of here quick!"
Mrs. Linkmeyer drops the stoneware mixing bowl full of batter on the floor and stares open mouthed at them as Arte/Mr. Tucker sweeps "his love" off of her feet. He carries Apple out of the kitchen and through the dining room, past several customers, including Helda, Apple's landlady.
Helda:"I told you that you needed a man!" she calls to Apple and Arte's quickly retreating backs. To her sister she calls,"I told her I would help her look but I didn't think ANYONE could work THAT fast! |

Kit saw Artemus carry Apple out of the diner and sighed* OK this is getting a bit outta hand the only time he carries me is when he gasses me, and he carries her out of a perfectly safe place and leaves me to fight with a man twice my size. Thats it I am done with Both James West and Artemus Gordon, I will request a transfer when we get back assuming that is I survive this little road trip.
Kit waits for them to come along hoping they hurry as the trail is getting cold and she sees Arabella* Hey Arabella welcome to our little party... have you been breifed?
