Were any of Ross Martin's stolen personal career memorabilia ever recovered?

I have to admit I bought one of those checks (eBay). However, it has a very special sentiment as the notation reads "Stage Makeup for 1776".

I am first and foremost a theater buff, and 1776 is my favorite musical of the literally hundreds and hundreds I've seen. There was a revival in 1997 and I sort of "adopted" the cast and vice versa. I'm still in touch with many of them over 20 years later!

The only things I know that resurfaced are all those signed, cancelled checks.
